I need to have a garage sale. Anyone have any pointers? This will be our very first garage sale in the 9 years (almost) we have been married. Leave me a comment with your tips!
I wouldn't do it alone. I hate to sound negative but often groups of people will come to a garage sale, get you sidetracked and steal from you. It helps is you have several people there with you.
I am garage sale queen, although I haven't had one in a while. You can price things individually, or have tables with everything on that table be the same price, than just stick colored dots on items representing a price so when it's brought to you how much it is. Example...red dots/table everything a dollar. Just remember your there to get rid of it, be flexible with your pricing. Price everything higher than you really want so you can come down in a bid off. Have fun!
